Our Research and Development Department keeps track of the latest fashion trends in order to design up to date and innovative products within the garments industry. It also hosts meetings with garment manufacturers and apparel brand designers in developing new designs and technical advancements for garment accessories. Furthermore, our R&D Dept works on improving the machinery used in trim making; aiming to further promote the quality of trims and its efficiency in bulk production.

In case of color mismatch, some dye factories may add dye-stuff directly to adjust the shade of their products; this ‘Topping’ application may result in dyes bleeding on to the final garment-piece after washing! At Wilson Garment Accessories, we take no chances but to re-dye our goods completely. As a pioneer in the garments industry, we take pride in this treatment methodology.

Our dyestuff and auxiliaries used in production do not contain prohibited AZO dyes, excessive formaldehyde, heavy metals or cancer-causing materials such as PCPs. Having obtained the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate further assures our commitment to supplying eco-friendly goods.

We study each customer’s requirement carefully to provide the best dyeing solution according to how our items will be applied to their products (most often in the application of apparel). Thorough washing tests would be performed at our laboratory before delivery in order to eliminate any possibility of color fastness problems.

Our in-house laboratory has been accredited by the Chinese National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS L5600), hence daily laboratorial operation conforms to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration (CNAS-CL01 Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories). Furthermore, we have been accredited by SGS and BV.
